How sponsoring Young Engineers works
Since its launch, Young Engineers has engaged with over 3 Million students in both the primary and secondary sectors.
Sponsors are our partners in providing activities that engage and enthrall thousands of young people. But sponsors’ needs are all different. That’s why we at Young Engineers want to find the partnership package that works for you.
Talk to our CEO, Rod Edwards, to determine what the best route is for you. We have a range of sponsorship packages, but we’re also keen to tailor-make specific programmes that will meet your own needs. We’re very much open to your ideas and we want your involvement.
Here are some of the variables that you might want to consider:
National, regional or local? Young Engineers is a nationwide network of clubs and every one of them could benefit from your involvement and sponsorship. But maybe your own focus is on a particular part of the UK. We can help you to match your own involvement to our club's geographical spread.
In cash or in kind? Young Engineers welcomes financial contributions of all sizes, and money is of course the simplest way to help the organisation as a whole to thrive and grow. But it’s by no means the only way. Talk to us about other ways you could be involved, perhaps through providing equipment to clubs or releasing staff or facilities to help some Young Engineers events.
Your own competitions and activities? Or ours? We already have a lot of activities and competitions for our Young Engineers Clubs and their members, but we always need new ones to take out nationwide or to offer as ideas for individual clubs. Maybe you have events of your own that could benefit from our national reach. Talk to us about how you would like to be involved and let us help you to bring your ideas into action.
Joining our Advisory Board - this Board comprises senior engineers from leading UK engineering companies and is the vehicle for gathering industry's input to our various activities. Membership is by invitation only with members gaining several benefits from their support.
Whatever your requirements, we can help you to achieve them through the various Young Engineers programmes, activities and our Club Network. Our team of specialists at our head office provide the direct link with sponsors and all partners receive regular updates on all activities. And we provide links through to other STEM activities and STEM organisations: when you join us at Young Engineers, you’re joining not just the thousands of Young Engineers in our clubs, but you’re part of the whole STEM network.
